Very satisfied with all aspects of our stay. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good value and all food was fresh. Dinners were excellent with a good variety of choice. Location was ideal with no noise and well situated to explore the Loire Valley. Overall this hotel was well run and good value.

The lady on reception was exceptionally helpful and made us most welcome. The breakfasts and evening meals were of a very high standard as well as the staff who were helpful, attentive and courteous. Would be more than happy to stay there again and highly recommend it. Brilliant !
We felt the duvets on the beds were a little heavy for this time of the year (July13th & July 21st) and needed to be lighter. The bath was slippery and needed a rubber mat as standing in the bath for a shower is dangerous. In the end we put one of the towels in the bath to provide a firmer & safer base. This was room 23 on our return visit. But the shower cubicle in room 21 opposite where we stayed on our first visit was not a problem.

The room was equipped with air-conditioning with a much-needed escape from the summer heat-a bonus considering the outside temperatures. The outdoor pool area was well-maintained and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day.
The location is somewhat off the beaten path, being situated near an industrial area rather than the vibrant town center was good. The dining experience left much to be desired. The limited menu choices for dinner resulted in some tasteless dishes, and the wine selection was overpriced without any 'house' options. The room amenities were basic at best, lacking essential items like fresh milk for coffee, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant fell flat, lacking any charm.

very helpful and nice staff, great location (large parking, hospitable terrace, nice garden etc), even though significantly far for Saumur which remains accessible only by car - more than 5 km away..
not for those who would like to feel the city and do not have a car to go thereto

Saumur is a wonderful place to visit and the Hotel Du Parc provides a peaceful retreat after visiting all the sights in Saumur. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the centre where there are lots of places to eat, drink and people watch. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and a trip to Saumur.

We chose Hotel Du Parc because of its family rooms - excellent when travelling with teenagers as the mezzanine level provides more room than any other hotel family room I have visited.
